If you are offering storewide free shipping for a specific shipping method(s), but you want to exclude a specific item from shipping for free, you can exclude it by entering the shipping method ID of the shipping method. For multiple methods, enter each shipping method ID separated by a comma.
For example, you may want to offer free Ground Shipping on all orders over $100, except if an item weighs more than 50 lbs. If Ground Shipping is shipping method #2, then you would enter a 2 in this field for all your items which weigh more than 50 lbs.
When a customer checks out, all the items in the cart will ship free, except the ones described here.
