Use this setting to override your standard shipping rules for this item.
Enter the shipping method ID for the shipping method that this applies to, followed by an equals sign, and the amount to charge shipping for this item.
For example: 2=10 – In this example, the system will charge $10 shipping for this item when shipping method ID 2 is used. $10 will be the total amount for shipping REGARDLESS of quantity ordered for this item. If you would like the $10 to be multiplied by quantity ordered, then add an asterisk to the end of the line like this: 3=10*

You can also specify different shipping amounts based on quantity in order to offer a quantity discount. For example, if you wanted to charge $10 for quantity 1, $15 for quantity 3, $20 for quantity 4, then it would look like this:
2=10,3:15,6:20
This states that for shipping method ID 2, charge a TOTAL of $10 shipping for this item from quantity 1 or 2. Charge $15 TOTAL for quantity 3, 4, or 5. Charge $20 TOTAL for quantity 6 and up.

Note: The quantity is not specified at the first level, and is alway assumed to be 1 and up to the next level.

You may also use the asterisk at the end of this line in order to have the shipping cost multiplied by quantity.

Shipping cost set here will be added to the normal shipping costs for the other items (if applicable) in the shopping cart.
