The Menu

eShipRate’s menu contains links to the following pages.

• Shipping Simulator – This page allows you to test your shipping rates and rules using the items in your store. You can use this to test prior to making eShipRate live in your store, or when making changes to your rules.
• Edit Product Data – This is where you set/edit all the relevant shipping data for each of your products. You can do this directly here, or you can opt to upload a spreadsheet. Uploading a spreadsheet is usually easier if you have a lot of items.
• Up/Download Product Data – This is where you can upload your product shipping data using a spreadsheet. This page also allows you to download a spreadsheet containing all product shipping data that is in our system.
• Shipping Rules – Here is where you create and set up your shipping rules, methods, and rates.
• Boxes – On this page you can set up all your shipping box sizes (if applicable).
• Shipping Categories – Shipping categories allow you to set different sets of rules for shipping based upon which shipping category an item is in. This page allows you to create those categories.
• Carrier Settings – Here is where you control the settings for each of the real time shipping companies that you wish to use. eShipRate comes standard with UPS, FedEx, and USPS. We also offer numerous other carriers up request. We can work with almost any shipping carrier worldwide, provided the carrier provides an API for shipping rates.
• General Settings – As the name implies, this page contains several setting which you should familiarize yourself with.
